Some log homes are square or rectangular.
Some have wings that reach out in every angle.
We've had extensive experience building all kinds.
Most Log home shells are priced per square foot. Also taken into account is the number of corners, the angle of the corners, or the complexity of the roof system.
When we give you the bid for your log home shell, it includes the log portion of your home, doors and windows cutout, and the log truss system flattened and ready for your roof system.
The cost of your log shell will range from $46.00 per square foot and will go up according to your design and type of logs you've selected.
Cost Example:
30' X 30' = 900 sq. ft. X $48.00 = $43,200.00
Loft areas are optional and priced at $25.00 and up for usable space. A cost example is 10' X 16' = 160 sq. ft. = $4,000.
Porch Shell includes all logs necessary to construct a porch specific to your design. Priced at $22.00 per sq. ft. and up.
We also build log stairways with log railings, price based on individual design.
Note: The above price for the log shell does not include the cost for trucking the logs to the home-owner's building site. The cost for trucking is a minimum of hourly charge and approximately $3.00 per loaded mile from our construction site to yours.
